英語を初めて学ぶお子さまのためのプログラムです。
Little Brownでは、「ことばは、時間をかけて育ちます。」と考えています。その第一歩となるのが、文字と音のつながりを学ぶ「フォニックス」です。
アルファベットの文字と音を覚えることから始まり, Short Vowels（短母音）, Long Vowels（Silent e）, Digraphs, Vowel Teamsなどへと段階的に学習を進めながら、自分の力で英語を読める力を育てていきます。
私たちが目指しているのは、単に単語を覚えたり会話を暗記したりすることではありません。「読めるようになること」です。
子どもたちは、自分で本が読めるようになることで、語彙を増やし、文法を自然に身につけ、自ら学び続ける力を育んでいきます。
レッスンでは、フォニックスに加え、日常英会話、歌、物語、教育ゲームなどを取り入れ、子どもたちが楽しみながら英語に親しめる環境をつくっています。大型タッチモニターも活用し、一人ひとりが積極的に参加できるテンポのよいレッスンを行っています。
Kids Brown Programで育まれた「読む力」は、Brown Reading Program、英検対策、プライベートレッスン、そして将来のBook & Writing Clubやインターナショナルスクールでの学習へとつながる、Little Brownの学びの土台となります。

	Level1 アルファベットの文字と音を学び、フォニックスの基礎を身につけます。
	Level2 Short Vowels（短母音)を中心に学び、音をつなげながら3文字（CVC）の単語を読めるようになります。
	Level3 Long Vowels（Silent e）を中心に学び、長母音のルールを理解します。あわせて基本的な子音ブレンドも学び、より長い単語や短い文章が読めるようになります
	Level4 Digraphs（sh, ch, thなど), Vowel Teams（ai・ee・oaなど), Diphthongs（二重母音)などを学び、自分の力でシンプルな本を読めることを目指します。

「毎週土曜日9:00-14:00を英語で過ごす、充実の一日。」
Little Brownのサタデースクールは、英語だけで一日を過ごすイマージョンプログラムです。午前中は、一人ひとりの読書レベルに合わせたリテラシーレッスンを中心に、「読む・書く・考える力」を育てます。午後は、ゲームやクラフト、アート、クッキング、サイエンスなど、子どもたちが楽しみながら英語を使える体験型アクティビティを行います。
英語を「勉強する」のではなく、「英語で学び、英語で考え、英語で楽しむ」ことを大切にしています。
Little Brown's Saturday School is a full-day English immersion program where children learn, play, and communicate entirely in English.
Each Saturday offers a balanced day of literacy, outdoor play, creative projects, games, and guided activities in a warm and supportive environment. Students strengthen their reading and writing skills while developing confidence, curiosity, and a natural ability to use English through meaningful daily experiences.

Brown Reading Program は、KBプログラムを修了し、自分で単語を読めるようになったお子さまを対象としたプログラムです。この段階では、「文字を読むことを学ぶ」から「読むことを通して学ぶ」へと学習の目的が変わります。
お子さま一人ひとりの読書レベルに合わせたデジタル・リーディングライブラリーを利用し、ご家庭でも英語の本を読むことができます。読書後には理解度クイズに挑戦し、継続して取り組むことで楽しく学習を進められる仕組みになっています。
講師はオンラインで読書状況や理解度を確認し、そのデータをもとに一人ひとりに合った本を選び、次のレッスンへとつなげていきます。
レッスンでは、全員で読む時間と個別に読む時間の両方を設け、語彙の確認、内容理解、ディスカッション、そして読んだ内容について書く活動も取り入れています。
使用するのは、子どもたちの興味を引き出す本格的な英語の絵本や読み物です。たくさんの本を読むことで、語彙や英文のパターンを自然に身につけ、読解力を着実に伸ばしていきます。
何より大切なのは、お子さまが英語の本を自分の力で楽しみながら読める、自立した読書家へと成長していくことです。 この力は、将来にわたる英語学習の大きな土台となります。
The Brown Reading Program is designed for students who have completed the KB reading program and are able to decode words independently. At this stage, the focus shifts from learning to read to reading to learn.
Students receive access to our carefully selected digital reading library, where books are matched to their individual reading level. They can read at home, complete comprehension quizzes, and earn rewards that encourage regular reading and make the experience enjoyable.
Teachers monitor each student's reading progress and quiz results online, allowing lessons to be tailored to each child's needs and ensuring steady growth throughout the program.
During class, students read both together and independently. Lessons include vocabulary development, discussion of story elements, comprehension activities, and occasional writing responses connected to the books they have read.
Students read a wide variety of authentic English fiction and nonfiction books rather than simplified language-learning texts. Through extensive reading, they naturally expand their vocabulary, become familiar with English sentence patterns, and develop stronger reading comprehension.
Most importantly, students become confident, independent readers who are able to enjoy real English books on their own.

英検３級の合格を目標にしています。英検３級の英文が理解できるように、基本単語をきちんと覚え、書けるように指導します。日常生活でよく使われる英語が聞けて話せるようにします。英文の語順を理解して、疑問文が作れるようにします。テキストは過去出題された問題集をベースに基本パターンを練習します。キッズブラウン・プログラムが終わって英語が読めるようになった小学生にお勧めします。

英検準２級の合格を目標にしています。文法の概念が芽生える中学生を対象に英語と日本語の違いを比較しながら英文法を解りやすく解説します。それを基にレベルに合ったストリーを多く読ませることで英文法がしっかりと定着し、正確な和訳を可能にします。主に英文法に基づいた「読む」・「書く」技能を効率よく伸ばすことに重点をおきます。「聞く」・「話す」技能もあわせて伸ばしたい方は当校別のプログラムを並行してご利用いただけます。

At Little Brown, we believe that language grows over time. Our Book & Writing Clubs take children on a journey of reading and writing, helping them become confident readers, thoughtful writers, and curious thinkers.
Students read engaging chapter books together, discuss ideas, build vocabulary, strengthen grammar, and respond to their reading through a variety of writing activities. Every piece of writing receives individual teacher feedback, giving students the opportunity to revise, improve, and develop strong writing habits.
Our clubs provide a welcoming environment where children learn to enjoy books while building the literacy skills that support success both in school and beyond.

Two Clubs
Grades 2–3
Designed for emerging chapter book readers who are ready to strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, and writing confidence.
Grades 4–5
Designed for more experienced readers who are ready for richer discussions, deeper literary analysis, and increasingly sophisticated writing.

  The Book & Writing Clubs can be joined independently or combined with our After School Day Care Program for children who stay with us after school.

International school students will study math in groups with a qualified teacher. They will review their school math and have fun experience with math games, challenges, and problem-solving processes. 90 minutes

Little Brown's Summer School helps students maintain academic momentum over the long summer break while enjoying a fun and engaging learning environment. Our program emphasizes reading, writing, mathematics, and science to strengthen academic foundations before the new school year begins.

Whether your family needs reliable daytime care during the holidays, extra academic support to prepare for the next school year, or simply an opportunity for your child to reconnect with friends and make new ones, Little Brown's Summer School is designed to meet all those needs. Everyday balances meaningful learning with games, projects, outdoor play, and engaging activities, creating a summer that is both productive and enjoyable.

Depending on the year, our Summer School may focus on five weeks of academic learning or combine four weeks of academics with two weeks of STEAM exploration, giving families flexibility while ensuring every child continues to learn, grow, and enjoy the summer.

For students attending Japanese schools, the STEAM program provides a welcoming introduction into an international learning environment. Children use English in authentic, meaningful situations while sharing their own language and culture with new friends. The result is a truly bilingual, multicultural learning community where every child grows in confidence and benefits from the experience.
